The History of Sock Subscription Boxes

In 2015, a company called Birchbox put out a press release: For $20/month, subscribers would receive five deluxe beauty samples from new and emerging brands. Things To Consider When Choosing A Sock Subscription Box

If you’re curious about sock subscription boxes, and want to see what all of the fuss is about, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, do you want to purchase socks on a monthly basis (as opposed to once or twice a year), or do you prefer just picking up fun pairs as they come your way? Do you have specific tastes in terms of color, print, size and shape? Would it be worth it to have those preferences catered towards by an expert (or several experts)? And finally: Are socks so important that they need their own box delivery service—as opposed to receiving any old items each month through services like Birchbox and Sephora Playbook?

In fact, if you take a look at almost any market on Amazon and eBay, you’ll see that an overwhelming majority of sellers are getting poor reviews—even when they offer quality products. People will come out of nowhere and leave a one-star review simply because they were too lazy to contact customer service or ask for help via email. As long as you stay focused on delivering stellar customer service, however, your sock subscription box business can go from zero to hero in no time!
