What does your sock choice say about you?

Wearing socks is a really personal choice. We all have those days where we just want to be comfortable, but there are other days when we want to wear something more interesting and colourful. And sometimes it's hard to find the perfect pair of socks that match your personality and your style. That's why so many people are choosing to subscribe to online sock subscriptions! There are lots of different sock subscription services out there, but one of the best is Stitch Fix. Lifestyle (Part 1) -What kind of socks are you wearing right now?

I'm wearing some pretty standard black dress socks that are the perfect height for my tall frame. I usually like to wear these with slacks or more formal attire, but it's cool to mix things up sometimes and wear different colors with your various outfits. The thing about socks is that they're just one of those things that you really don't think about until someone points it out. I have my own sock drawer full of different colors and styles, but I'm always on the lookout for new ones to add to my collection.

Lifestyle (Part 2) -What do you typically wear on weekends?

On weekends, I wear what feels most comfortable. I usually go for something more casual, like jeans and a t-shirt or sweatpants. When it's cold out, I'll wear my winter coat and boots. But if it's warm enough outside, I'll just put on some sandals or flip-flops.

Work - Do you wear more business or casual socks to the office?

I am not sure what type of socks I should wear to the office, says Sally. I am not sure if they should be more formal or casual. One way to answer this question is by looking at your work environment. For example, if you work in an office with a strict dress code that requires you to wear business attire, then you are going to need more formal socks. If you work in a laid back environment where there is no dress code, then any type of socks would be acceptable.

Are your favorite socks character themed or do they have an interesting design, pattern, etc.?

I am someone who likes to think that my sock choice says something about me. I like socks with interesting designs, bold colors, and unique patterns. They are a part of my daily uniform and are often the first thing people notice when they meet me. My favorite socks right now have the word DARE written in colorful lettering on them. They make me feel like I can take on any challenge, which is what I want from my socks!

Fashion - Are there certain colors that go well with each other in your wardrobe so all of your socks coordinate nicely together?

Pairing your socks is an easy way to make your outfit look intentional and pulled together. If you're not into that, don't worry - wearing mismatched socks has become the norm in recent years. There are so many fun colors and patterns out there these days that it's easy to find a pair for any occasion. But if you do want to go the matchy matchy route, here are some suggestions on what colors work well together:

White and black

Gray and brown

Gold, silver, or bronze with any other metallic tones

Red with light pink

Royal blue with mint green

Health/Fitness – Do you have any special health related needs requiring compression socks, orthopedic support, or something else like athletes foot prevention and treatment assistance provided by washable sock liners inside your athletic shoes/trainers like Sweaty Bands provide extra cushioning, anti-odor capabilities. etc.?

Many people have health-related needs that require specialized socks. For example, if you have diabetes, your doctor may prescribe compression socks to keep your blood flowing properly. If you have sore knees or other conditions that make standing for long periods painful, orthopedic support socks can help alleviate some of the discomfort. If you experience athlete's foot (which is caused by fungus on the skin), washable sock liners can provide relief and protection inside your athletic shoes or trainers.
