The Sharpest Socks Yet from Our Socks Club
I’m not ashamed to admit it – I’m in love with socks. I wear them pretty much all the time, but that doesn’t mean they don’t get washed every day! There’s nothing worse than having to wear mismatched socks, or worn-out ones, so I like to make sure I always have plenty of fresh pairs on hand. Of course, buying new socks every month would be impossible (and expensive!), so when I heard about the latest sock subscription boxes from our sock club, I knew it was the right option for me!
In-depth look at the process of creating these socks
Most of our socks start with an idea, but for these specially colored ones, we wanted to start with a color—one that would stand out and make an impact. So we looked at all of our available fabric swatches and found one that really stood out. That color led us to a pattern idea (itself influenced by its boldness), then to a specific fabric weight, color scheme and lastly to the actual design elements on each sock—from heel tab logos to thread type. This is how you take something simple like a hosiery item and turn it into something remarkable. The end result are socks so bold they could have only come from Philosockphy!
Breakdown of each sock in this pack
The 10th sock in our Philosophy Sock series is our boldest and most eye-catching one yet. The sock’s background color is sky blue, with gray speckles that make it look almost like a still pool of water. Lining each sock are alternating light and dark gray lines—like little ribbons—that complement everything else on your feet while adding another dimension to these stylish socks. This pair will easily draw attention while still giving you a professional appearance. If you’re looking for a bold but not obnoxious style, then we think you’ll love these high-quality socks.
A look at what was worn on a day when we wore these socks
I'm wearing a brown v-neck (long-sleeved, if you can't tell) shirt and black dress pants. I also had on a very awesome watch that my parents gave me when I graduated high school; they are Gatsby branded watches and they were sold by Abercrombie and Fitch but now they're called Tiger Timepieces or something similar. It's got pretty much every feature you could ever want, including an alarm clock, countdown timer, compass, light switch etc. It is essentially a small computer on your wrist that does literally everything except walk for you (or is it?). This watch also fits into one of those odd categories of things where it was wildly expensive ($500?
