So Excited! The sock of the month Subscription Box is Finally Here
How often do you find yourself wishing you could get your hands on new socks? How many times have you stopped and thought, Wouldn’t it be great if I could just get a new pair of socks every month instead of having to worry about buying them? Well, guess what? You can!
Introducing the sock subscription box
If you haven’t heard of a sock subscription box, then clearly you have been living under a rock. This hot new trend delivers a fresh pair of socks to your door every month for as little as $6 each. We don’t know about you, but that certainly puts a smile on our face (and feet!). Gone are the days when we had to go out and purchase these basic necessities for ourselves—today, companies have figured out how to automate them in pretty innovative ways. How much does it cost?
(The price you find on google or in your local store) Monthly sock subscription boxes start at about $10 a month for 4 pairs. For example, you can sign up for a monthly sock box from Bombas (one of my favorite companies). Or choose from more than 100 different styles when you sign up to get socks every month on Stitch Fix. These services are much more expensive than buying a pair here and there at Target or Macy's, but they're also much cooler. And while they might not be cheap, they're an affordable luxury—and we've found that getting socks every month makes them feel even cheaper. We may never look back now that we've discovered what it's like to have a whole collection of cool socks.
What are your themes?
Choose 2-3 themes to make your sock collection unique. Put your socks under trees, snowflakes, snowmen and stockings are some options you can choose from. Find out what other cool socks have been made for holidays and try to come up with something that hasn’t been done before. Research what colors go well together for specific themes such as red/green or brown/orange or black/white. You want to get a good start when it comes to putting colors together in order to make your socks look nice on display while also sending them out monthly. It also helps you decide on how many socks you should send out each month as well because there will be a point where too many pairs would not leave enough room for variety.
Why do they send cool socks?
A sock subscription service will ensure you get a new pair of socks every month. As stated above, subscribers to sock of the month subscriptions receive a new pair of socks each month (and often some extra goodies such as carrying bags, shoe horns, and more!). When did you last buy yourself a quality pair? If you love them, wouldn’t it be nice to have enough pairs to rotate between? As anyone who regularly wears stockings knows, it can get expensive buying these products in retail stores. But if you sign up for a sock-of-the-month program online (or through your favorite clothing or department store), rest assured that all your stocking needs will be met. You’ll never go without socks again.
When do they ship to me?
You’ll get a new pair of socks every month, mailed to you. Be sure to check our FAQ for information on how long it takes for your first box to arrive. Who will I be getting socks from?: We currently have 6 different sock subscription boxes that range in variety, but we’re always looking for more creative people that want to design a sock subscription box. Where are they made?: Almost all our socks are designed and manufactured right here in California (San Diego). Can I choose my style each month?: Nope! We plan ahead what styles we think you'll like before each month.
Can I pause my subscription at any time?
Of course, you can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. We'll help you do that on your account page. If you're not sure how to find it, just let us know and we'll be happy to help. Don't worry, if you pause your subscription there will be no additional charges. Of course, if you decide later that you want a pair in January we'll do our best to work with you and get something out in time for Christmas. How cool would that be? One more thing—we're planning on launching a kids' sock of the month club soon. No idea when yet but it's coming and I promise it's going to be amazing... So exciting!
