Our "Philosockphy" on Giving Back to Our Community

When we started making mens socks, one of our primary goals was to give back to the neighborhood in which we lived.

Because of our commitment to strengthening communities and nurturing families, we have started to work with Philadelphia's People's Emergency Center (PEC) here in the United States. PEC provides over 235 affordable housing properties, parenting, early childhood education, technology courses, financial education, career training, and life skills for homeless women who have children. PEC is a non-profit organization. For the families that come to PEC for help, the organization aims to motivate them to attain long-term financial and home security.

In Canada, we collaborated with Brands For Canada, a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce poverty and inequality through the usage of commodities. A portion of Philosockphy's revenue from mens sock subscriptions and leftover inventory was donated to Brands For Canada.

It is a way to show your love for your community and give back to those in need by wearing Philosockphy’s mens work socks or by signing up for a mens sock subscription.

Often the individuals in society who are most in need are the most disregarded. Society and governments aren't built up to protect everybody who needs it. Charitable organizations are here to fill the gaps and give dedicated resources to aid those who need the most. When we're able to give back because of our customers' choice to purchase a mens sock subscription, we can help those who can't help themselves. We're in a privileged position, and we want to use it. 

We Can Get Closer to an Ideal Society 

In a perfect world, there would be no need for charitable organizations to exist. Imagine living in a society where no child ever went hungry or was subjected to abuse. No animals were hurt, in which all illnesses could be treated or cured, in which everyone was treated gently and fairly, and in which everyone had the same possibilities in life. That is the goal that all of our combined efforts are striving toward. And if we want actual change, we have to put in the effort, but we can't accomplish it ourselves. You buying men's socks means we can offer contributions that enable charitable organizations to strive toward the goal of building a society that is beneficial to everyone and leaves no one behind.

Because of the generosity of individuals like yourself, charitable organizations can carry out the essential job that they do. You Can Meet New People

When you assume a leadership position, in addition to the responsibilities that come with it, you also have the potential to mold the environment around you according to your preferences.

You can make a difference in your own life by making a difference in the places where you work, live, and play. You and your loved ones will be safer and healthier if you live in a community with a good quality of life.
