The Do's and Don'ts of No Show Socks for Your Sock Subscription

The Do's and Don'ts of No Show Socks for Your sock subscription

If you’re planning to start, or currently participate in, a sock subscription box, it’s important to have no show socks on hand to keep your feet warm and comfortable throughout the cold winter months! No show socks are designed to fit under dress shoes and boots, so your socks won’t peek out from under the shoes you wear all day at work (or when you’re running errands). But no show socks can be tricky to find, which is why I’ve created this list of do’s and don’ts of no show socks!

Do: Check the weather

On days when the weather is going to be high temperatures, the best sock of the month club is a great option. On days with low temperatures, keep in mind that crew socks are not going to work well without showing. Try ankle socks instead. We always say this one: don't wear white socks with dress shoes!

Do: Consider your outfit

It can be tempting to wear the first pair of socks that you find, but that is not always the best option. In order to avoid wearing no show socks with a dress or skirt, it is recommended to wear your dress or skirt first before making a decision on what socks to wear. This way, you are able to either choose a fun colorful sock like crazy color dress socks or a fun men's ankle sock like mens purple ankle socks for your outfit.

Do: Go for quality over quantity

Quality over quantity is a no-brainer when it comes to your socks. You want to make sure that they're comfortable, durable, and long lasting. In addition, you want them to be fashionable so you can wear them with all sorts of outfits - from work slacks to a more casual t-shirt. When it comes to the best sock subscriptions out there, we're partial to ours. Here are the do's and don'ts when it comes to getting your hands on some cool socks:

Don't: forget about no show socks

No show socks are an important part of any sock subscription. While the heel, ankle, or other design may be your personal preference, no show socks are often a necessity to wear with certain clothes. We recommend that you subscribe to a sock club that includes these socks as well! You can also buy them on their own if you're not getting a monthly delivery. Here are some do's and don'ts when it comes to this type of sock:

Don't: get the wrong size

One of the most common problems people have with their no show socks is that they get the wrong size. This can happen when you are just guessing on your size or if you are not paying attention to what measurements are being offered by a company. To avoid this problem, be sure to pay close attention to what size you need. You should also check the sizing charts before ordering any products so that you know how to measure your foot.
When it comes to measuring your foot, there is an easy way and a slightly more accurate way.

Don't: choose socks that are too tight

If you want to make sure that your socks don’t fall down, it’s important to get the right size. If they are too tight, you might get a blister on your foot or ankle from how tight they are. What’s more, if you have larger feet, the socks might not be long enough. It can also be difficult to find socks in tall sizes at retail stores.
