The Best Sock Subscriptions for People Who Love Socks

You love socks, right? Even if you don’t consider yourself an enthusiastic sock wearer, you probably have a favorite pair or two that you prefer to wear around the house, to bed, or even to work. And most of the time, the store-bought socks you purchase are fine—but they lack personality and variety. That’s where sock subscriptions come in! While there are hundreds of subscription boxes out there these days, we think one of these four is the best sock subscription for your needs...

What are your sock preferences?

I love colourful socks. I like to wear colourful socks with my work clothes and I also like to wear them with my casual clothes. I also like knee-high socks because they are easier to put on than thigh-high socks and they are more fun to wear. The best sock subscriptions should have a range of different colours, but it's really important that the quality of the material is good so that the colour doesn't fade quickly.

Are you busy or very busy?

Busy people are often looking for ways to save time. One way to do this is by subscribing to a service that will provide socks on a recurring basis. Some of the benefits include not needing to worry about finding and buying new socks, saving money because you're not paying full price, and receiving new colours every month so you won't get bored.

If you're very busy, then it may be difficult to find the time needed to go buy socks or go through your sock drawer and remove those that no longer fit or match your wardrobe. This is where subscription services really come in handy! They take care of all the hard work, making things easier on busy people who want great quality socks without having to think about it each month.

Where will you wear these socks most often?

I will mostly wear these socks when I work from home. I love that these socks are both colourful and comfortable, so they're perfect for those days I'm feeling a little lazy. They also last longer than most other socks because they're made of wool and cotton, which means you won't be able to see through them as easily. The best part about this subscription is that you get six pairs every month, so there's always a fresh pair waiting for me in the morning!

What brands do you prefer and why?

I love colorful socks, so I love brands like Funky Toes. They are a bit more pricey than some other sock companies, but I feel like they're worth it. Funky Toes has a great selection of colors and patterns which is something that I really appreciate. Sometimes the cheaper brands just have one type of color or pattern available. Plus, Funky Toes socks are high quality and will last longer than cheaper brands that wear out sooner.

What colors do you like best in your socks right now?

I like to wear my socks with a lot of color. I like to have fun in my clothes so that might be why I love wearing colorful socks. My favorite colors are red, blue, and green. When it comes to shoes I'm more of a black and brown kind of person but when it comes to socks they can be as colorful as you want them to be.

How many pairs of socks do you normally wear at once (that includes sneakers, boots, etc.)

I usually wear six to eight pairs of socks at a time. I have three different types of socks in my drawer: dress socks, athletic socks and everyday socks. Most days, I wear all three types of socks. Dress and athletic sock brands include Nike, Adidas, Under Armour and Reebok. Everyday sock brands include Hanes and Fruit of the Loom. There are two main reasons why I wear so many pairs of socks at once: 1) It helps me stay warm because our house is always heated to 74 degrees F and 2) it is a good way to keep your feet from sweating too much by wearing more layers than you need to be warm (like if you're cold).

Do you have any medical conditions like diabetes, neuropathy, etc.?

Do you have any medical conditions that make it hard to wear certain types of socks? Do you have any allergies? Are you a woman with wider feet, or a man who needs an extra-long inseam? These are all things to consider when choosing the best sock subscription.
