The Best Sock of the Month Club: How to Choose the Right One for You

The Best sock of the month Club: How to Choose the Right One for You

How often do you think about your socks? If you’re like most people, the answer is not very often. However, if you’re looking to add a little bit of fun and convenience to your life, it might be time to look into sock subscriptions. These services are aimed at making sure that every day that you wear socks is one that’s as comfortable as possible, and they also make great gifts for loved ones or friends who have everything. But with so many different subscription services out there, how do you choose the right one?

Do I want a sock subscription, or do I want another subscription

Most sock of the month clubs cater towards women, but there are a few that target men. If you’re not sure which is right for you, consider your existing subscriptions. Do you love getting socks every month? Are you also subscribed to a box like Birchbox or Dollar Shave Club?

Do I want socks for men, women, children, and/or pets

Men, women, and children have different foot sizes. Men have bigger feet than women and children. Women have smaller feet than men. Children are somewhere in between both. It’s important to know who you’re buying socks for before purchasing a sock of month club subscription. If you do not know their shoe size or what size clothing they wear, it will be more difficult to choose a sock of month club that is right for them. For example, if you buy 12 pairs of socks meant only meant for women but they fit a little too snugly on your male friend, then he might not be able to fit them on comfortably so it would be best if you made sure that your socks were made with people with his shoe size in mind.

Do I want cotton socks or no-show socks

Before you decide on which sock of the month club to choose, there are a few questions you should ask yourself. For example, do I want cotton socks or no-show socks? If it’s cotton socks, do I want patterns or solids? Are stripes in my style or not? Can I tell you how many times a week (or day) I wear dress shoes that require dress socks? Do I work out often enough that sports socks would make sense for me?

Do I have allergies that may affect my sock choices

Ask your doctor if you have any allergies that may affect your sock choices. It’s true that some individuals are allergic to specific ingredients found in different types of socks. For example, some people have adverse reactions when they wear wool socks, while others suffer anaphylactic shock because they are allergic to latex. If you happen to be allergic or sensitive to certain materials, speak with your doctor about which socks will be best for you before ordering a sock subscription.

Do I want more than one pair at a time

Depending on how many pairs you'd like each month, different clubs will have different offerings. Some clubs offer as few as two pairs, while others offer up to six or more. If you're looking for something fun but not over-the-top, it's best to look at a sock of the month club that offers no more than three or four pairs per delivery. Three pairs would be a great option if you're like me and don't wear out socks too quickly—I can usually get through at least two pair in an average month before they need replacing.

Where will my socks come from

Are you looking for colorful socks from around the world? Or are you more interested in how many pairs your subscription will include? If you’re more inclined toward variety, it’s possible that one sock of each design may not be enough—but if they are, it might be time to hit up a second sock club (we won’t judge). Are you looking for practical or trend-driven designs? Again, there is no right answer here—you just need to figure out what your preferences are and look at different options accordingly. Will comfort factor into your decision? We may have already answered that question with our first two questions, but only you can decide what feels best when it comes to your new socks. Does price play a role in your decision?
