The Best Sock of the Month Club: 5 Unique Ways to Fold Your Socks

Socks are the one accessory that you have to wear every day, and it’s always disappointing to find your favorite pair stretched out or worn out after only a couple of weeks of use. At The Best sock of the month Club, we want to help you avoid this common problem by giving you an exciting new way to fold your socks that gives them extra support and protection from getting worn out too quickly. Plus, our unique sock folding method also gives you more fun ways to sort and store your socks so they’re always ready when you need them!

socks

#1 - Over Under

This is a really simple way to fold your socks, and it works well for mens colorful socks. Take one sock and pull it over the other. Then flip them over so that they are both on top of each other. Now take one sock, and fold it in half lengthwise from the toe end all the way up to where your ankle would be. Repeat with the other sock. When you're done, pull them apart so that each sock has its own half on either side, with no overlap.

#2 - Tubes

Tubes are a great way to store your socks. They are easy and convenient because they allow you to easily see what is inside. Plus, they give you the option of quickly grabbing one sock out without having to dig through all the other ones in there. The downside is that they take up more space than just storing them on a shelf or in a drawer. If you have room for them though, tubes are an excellent storage option!

socks

#3 - Cabled

Cabled socks are made by knitting a series of stitches in one direction, then turning the work and knitting in the other direction. The sock is turned inside out and this process is repeated until there is enough fabric to fit snugly around your foot. The cable pattern gives the sock a ribbed texture that's perfect for winter and helps keep your feet warm!
These socks are knit from cuff down which means they're knit with a separate piece for each foot. When you're ready to start knitting your socks, cast on 12 stitches on each needle. Knit every stitch back and forth until you have an even number of rows equal to 2x(your desired length minus 4 inches). Turn your work so that it's facing opposite from how it was when you began working.

#4 - Fringe

Fringe socks are more popular than ever, and we have a number of styles for you to choose from. Our fringe dress socks are perfect for every day wear with formal shoes and dresses. They'll add a little extra flair and pop of color, while keeping your toes comfortable. If you're looking for something more bold, our funky ankle socks are right up your alley. The pattern on these is very intricate and is sure to catch someone's eye as they walk by or sit next to you! With so many choices available, it's not hard to find a pair that fits what you're looking for.
