Sock of the Month Clubs Reviewed

sock of the month Clubs Reviewed

You might not think about your socks every day, but you probably wear them every day, which makes it important to have the right pair of socks on hand at all times. If you’re looking to switch up your sock game, consider one of these sock of the month clubs so you can enjoy fresh socks delivered straight to your door every month from the comfort of your own home. We’ve put together a list of some of the best sock of the month clubs out there, and even included a review from someone who tried each service out!

The Pros and Cons of Subscription Boxes

Want a new pair of socks every month? One that you choose? Save your brain from overthinking it. There are several sock subscription boxes available, offering two to four pairs for as little as $10 per month. The convenient socks will arrive in a fun box (and you can toss out that plastic baggy they come in at retail stores), so what's not to love? Here’s what I learned during my research into sock-of-the-month clubs...

My Personal Experiences With These Two Subscription Services

I have personally tried and used both sock of the month clubs, but I have to say that I favor Philosophie over Sock Dreams. Philosophy seems to curate a broader variety in their boxes—I’ve been more excited about some pairs that are outside my usual style—and they are also more accessible to people who live in cold climates. (If you’re lucky enough to live somewhere warm all year long, you might find yourself just throwing away socks too often.) Because most months I wear boots and thick-soled shoes almost exclusively, my shoe size is difficult for socks subscriptions. But if you want a great gift for your loved one or something fun for yourself each month, I recommend Philosophie.

How Much Do They Cost?

Although each club has its own price, sock-of-the-month clubs generally cost about $15 a month. Shipping is typically free for orders over $20. For example, Sock It To Me charges $15 a month and includes free shipping on all orders over $20. If you only want to receive socks in certain months, some companies will waive their monthly fee for those months. Those that don’t may ask for an additional fee for a six- or 12-month sock subscription plan. For example, Bombas sends socks every three months (for three pairs) and its regular subscription costs $34; but if you sign up for an annual plan (six pairs), it costs just $39—that’s only about $7 per pair!

What Is Included In The Boxes

What’s in a sock-of-the-month box? Quite a bit, actually. For example, some companies feature socks from established brands such as Darn Tough or Stance. Others choose to highlight designers such as KimmyShop, who works with US manufacturers to create unique patterned and themed collections. These sock subscriptions also often feature quirky socks based on pop culture or seasonal items, such as eggplants for Spring. My Overall Recommendations And Conclusion

I really love Philosockphy, but I don’t think it makes sense for everyone. The socks are extremely high quality, and that is their biggest strength. As for weakness, many people simply won’t like having to wear a new pair every month. If you enjoy wearing something different each month, or you want to give your sock game a boost without spending too much money then Philosockphy is an excellent choice. For our sock of the month club reviews I liked Buxr and Sock Club best overall.
