Sock of the Month Club: Why We Love Cotton, New Wool and Cashmere
To help keep your toes warm and dry during the colder months, we’ve created our very own sock of the month club! Each month you’ll get one pair of socks made from premium materials like cotton, new wool and cashmere. But why do we love these materials? Learn more about them here!

Comfort
Cotton is one of the most popular materials for socks. Not only is it comfortable and breathable, but it's also durable. It's a natural fiber that feels smooth against your skin. The downside to cotton is that it will retain odor more than other materials like wool or cashmere.
New wool is made from sheep's wool or lamb's wool. You'll find this material in many high-end brands because it has a luxurious feel to it which makes you feel pampered when you put them on. These socks are less likely to shrink in the wash so they're perfect if you like your socks to fit snugly without any extra length at the end of your toes.

Quality
The term sock has many meanings. The most common meaning is a garment worn on the foot. In this sense, there are many different types of socks, but they all serve to keep your feet warm and comfortable. There are ankle socks, trouser socks, dress socks and crew socks to name a few. The type you wear depends on what you're wearing them with (pants or skirts) as well as your personal preference. Cotton is one popular material that people like because it's soft against your skin. But if you're looking for something sturdy that won't get stretched out easily then wool or cashmere might be better for you. Wool is durable so it provides warmth without getting ruined too quickly from wear and tear - great for outdoor activities in cold weather!

Practicality
There are many benefits to a sock subscription. First, it is practical in that you can have cool socks delivered right to your door every month. You don't have to worry about looking for them in stores or online. Second, a sock subscription eliminates the need for people to buy socks as gifts because they come as an unexpected surprise. Third, socks are one of those things that we all need but never think about until they are missing from our drawer or from our sock drawers! Fourth, there is no doubt that most people would love to get new socks every month. This can be fun for both men and women alike (especially when it comes down to fun colors). Fifth, it's always nice to know what size you wear so you can order more!

How to Wash Them
It's easy to wear cotton socks when washing them. Just throw them in a load with your regular laundry and wash on a warm or hot cycle. If you have any colored socks, it's best to do a separate load. Remember to turn them inside out before tossing them in the washer. You should also avoid using bleach when washing these socks as bleach can break down cotton fibers over time. If you're looking for more durable pair of socks, wool is an excellent choice. These will stand up well against most stains thanks to its natural lanolin that repels water, dirt and oil stains.
Durability
Cotton socks are typically a good choice for durability. The fibers in cotton socks are less likely to break than those found in wool or cashmere. This means they will last longer - you'll be able to wear them more often!
Wool socks are a great alternative if you're looking for style over durability. They're great for dressing up or down and come in a variety of colors and patterns. But these socks won't last as long because wool fibers tend to break more easily than cotton fiber so these might not be best option if you plan on wearing them every day.
Cashmere is another excellent choice for luxury sock lovers.
