Introduction

No matter how many cool socks you own, there always seems to be another one that you can't find. This is where sock subscriptions come in handy. They help make sure that you'll never run out of socks, and even better yet, they're usually a monthly gift for yourself. We did some digging around on the internet and found five ways to fold your socks that we've decided are the best. If you don't have a favorite way or can't decide which is best, try them all!

The Basic Fold

1. The Basic Fold is an excellent choice for anyone who likes a simple, clean look. 2. To create this fold, lay your socks out on a flat surface and fold one over the other, with one inside of the other. 3. Then use your fingers to push out the seams at either side and tuck them in towards each other - this will give you a nice crease where you can then flatten and place your sock down on top of it's partner so that they're touching. 4. This fold looks best when both socks are about the same size and color, but it can work with any combination! 5.

The Roll Up

The sock cheerleader is another great way to fold your socks because it makes them look like they're cheering for you. This is a great choice for those who are feeling down and need some cheering up.
The spaghetti squash is a good option if you have trouble folding your socks normally. It's always nice when something that's hard becomes easy, right? This one will be especially helpful when all those Christmas present socks come out of hiding and need folding.

The Ballerina

Fold your socks with a ballerina--the classic, traditional way. This is probably the most well-known way to fold your socks. A ballerina sock fold is perfect for small and medium sized socks. You can also make one long sock from two separate mismatched socks by cutting off any extra length at the top (or in this case, bottom) and then folding them together like you would with a ballerina sock.
1) Start by finding two matching socks or two mismatched ones that are close in size. 2) Hold both socks so that their toes are pointing away from you, then position one on top of the other so that they meet at their heel.

The Envelope

A nice way to fold socks is by dividing them into thirds and then rolling them up in an envelope shape. Place your hands at opposite ends of the sock and start folding it up from one end over to the other. You'll need some fidgeting and finagling, but you'll find that this method can be done for all sorts of socks-- ankle, crew, dress or tube.
Another great way is to fold your socks in thirds first, then in half. Lay each sock on top of another with their folded edges aligned and then fold both in half together so they form a long strip. Then just wrap that strip around your fingers like a candy wrapper until you reach a point where you can't go any further-- voila!
