Sock of the Month Club: The 5 Best Ways to Fold Your Socks

Time to freshen up your sock drawer? A sock of the month club like the one offered by Sock Drawer is the best way to add variety to your sock drawer and ensure that you never run out of socks. That way, you’ll always have fresh socks on hand—or in this case, in your sock drawer—to wear with your favorite shoes.

1) Egg Carton Method

If you're looking for a fun, simple way to fold your socks that also packs them together neatly, this method is perfect for you! It also requires very little thought and time. All you need is an egg carton! This is a great solution for those people who don't want a monthly sock subscription or are stocking up on socks. Just make sure that the egg carton has holes on both sides so they can accommodate any size heel. Place one sock in each hole and then close the lid until it clicks. That's it!

2) Shoe Box Method

The Shoe Box Method is one of our favorite ways to fold socks because it's quick, easy, and everything fits neatly inside a shoe box. All you need is a shoe box and some sock dividers or old t-shirts cut in half. Start by folding your socks as usual (i.e., toe-to-toe) and then stack them on top of one another. Place them inside the shoe box, with your toes pointing towards the front opening. Stack them in piles of four with dividers between each pile. When all your socks are inside, close up the shoe box and store it out of reach for maximum organization!

3) Basket Method

The basket method is a sock-folding technique that's just as easy as it sounds. Simply roll your socks up into a ball, then place them in an empty basket. I like to put my socks on top of the netting so they don't get lost! This method can be used for any type of sock, including ankle socks and dress socks.
The basket method is perfect for those who want their clothes folded neatly but aren't looking for anything too fancy. It also works well when you want to fold all your clothes at once and are looking for a tidy way to do it.

4) Origami Bend

You can also fold your socks into a beautiful origami-inspired bend. Wrap your sock in a full loop, then bring one end over the other and tuck it under. Hold the folded end with one hand and use both hands to roll up the rest of the sock until you've reached your desired height. Keep rolling until you get back to where you started and tuck in both ends so they're hidden inside your new creation. This is a great way to make sure that your socks are always clean and tidy while still keeping them out of sight when they're not in use!

5) Toilet Paper Roll Method

A great way to fold socks is by using a toilet paper roll. First, put your feet into one end and pull it up over your foot. Next, wrap it around your ankle and tuck in the ends as you go until you reach the top. Finally, roll up a little more if there's any excess material left over. This method takes up less space in your drawer or sock pouch.
