I love cool socks

I’m constantly on a quest to find new, quirky socks that make me stand out from my friends and coworkers. This began a few years ago when I was hosting a party for friends and wanted to get them cool socks for all of their Christmas presents. The only problem was I couldn’t think of one great place that had both cool socks and reasonable prices. So, in order to solve my sock dilemma, I did what any reasonable person would do: Start my own sock subscription service!

What do you think about sock subscriptions?

Got your attention, right? If you need socks and don’t have time to shop or stumble across cool sock brands, a sock subscription service might be a good option. There are some services that send you a pair of socks every month and others that offer two-to-three pair of socks in one shipment. Both options require that you fill out a style profile when you sign up for your subscription so they can get to know what kind of sock you like and/or need. Then, every month (or every other month), a new package will arrive with fresh socks for your feet.

Do you tumble dry your socks at home or let them air-dry outside?

If you’re not sure, you’re not alone—many people don’t realize that whether or not they tumble dry their socks can affect their longevity. But it turns out there is a right way and a wrong way to go about drying your socks. To find out what method is best for those cool socks you wear so often, read on! Then comment below with your choice.

Which type of subscriber are you?

Whether you tumble dry your socks in a dryer or hang them on a clothesline to dry is a matter of personal preference. However, there are some specific factors that need to be considered when choosing which method will be best for your needs. For example, some may find that using a hair dryer to gently blow warm air into their sock drawer can help keep them feeling fresher. Alternatively, those with wet feet might want to put a few drops of essential oil inside a pillowcase and then store their favorite socks inside overnight. For your specific sock preferences and individual drying needs, it’s important to choose which type of drying method works best for you—and stick with it!
